Biography
Makkaslin began playing bass even when he was 14 years old as a member of the Second Opinion, and now former drummer Avril Lavigne Matt Brann was with him. He was the last to join the group, and by then all the musicians had already chosen their instruments, and he only had a bass guitar left.
Sum 41
Before joining Sum 41 , he was a doorman in a movie theater. He was the last to get into Sum 41, and he often likes to joke about this, that "if he had not come to them, then there would have been no group." Kone is quieter than everyone else in the group and when they give interviews he is almost always silent, but on the official website of the group he is more talkative than everyone else, and for fans he usually becomes the most noticeable member of the group.
Professional career
Cone, along with Todd Morse, created The Operation MD , which plays under the nickname "Dr. Dynamite." He plays the bass guitar on most tracks, and the acoustic guitar in the song “Someone Like You,” also on lead vocals. The group has already managed to release an album called “We Have an Emergency” and to shoot three clips “Sayonara”, “Someone Like You”, “BIRDS + BEE STINGS”. The band is currently recording a second album.
Tools
Kone plays the Fender Precision bass: 59 Precision Bass Closet Classic, 59 Precision Bass Relic and American Vintage 62 Precision Bass.
Personal life
He married his high school sweetheart Shannon Bowelk on September 5, 2008 . At his wedding, Derik Whibley and Todd Morse performed One Band U2 and Pieces Sum 41 .
