Yajnavaraha - Brahman of royal blood, grandson of Harsavarman I.
He served as a purohita (adviser to the ruler) with Rajendravarman II and was the mentor of his son, the future king of the Khmer Empire - Jayavarman V.
Yajnavaraha went down in history thanks to his creation - the construction of the Banteay Srei temple , which ended in 967 .
Jayavarman V awarded him the title “vraha guru” (holy spiritual master).
