Content
Story
The film takes place during World War II . Eight Italian soldiers are on a small Greek island in the Aegean Sea . Their ship is sunk, and they are forced to stay here, having entered into contact with the local population.
Locals initially take them for the Germans, who are hateful because they took the entire male population off the island. But for the former Italian soldiers, the war is over, and they are trying to arrange their life here, reveling in a peaceful, peaceful life.
