Biography
The son of the sculptor Ivo Strigel (1430-1516). Influenced by Bartolomeus Zeitblom, may have been his student in Ulm. He worked at the court of Emperor Maximilian I.
Creativity
The author of works on sacred subjects, as well as portraits of contemporaries, by whom he remained the most famous.

The works of Strigel are represented in museums in Berlin , Strasbourg , Munich , Vienna , Donaueschingen , New York , etc.
