Career

Club

He made his debut in big football in 1992, in the little-known Renato Curi team. A year later he ended up in Milan , but in two seasons he did not play a single match there.

After that, he played in the C1 series for three seasons, for such teams as Fiorenzuola, Monza, Lecco and Prato.

In 1998, he again ended up at Monza, this time in series B. Only here he began to appear more or less often on the field. However, after this season, Oddo left the team. In 1999 he was already at Napoli. There he spent 45 matches in the championship and the Italian Cup during the season, scoring 1 goal, and after a season, not having to change the tradition, he moved to Verona.

As part of Verona, Oddo made his debut in Serie A. For two seasons, he played 64 games in the championship and 4 in the Italian Cup, scoring 11 goals. In 2002, he was called to Lazio , where he spent a full five seasons.

Since January 2007, as part of Milan . Forced out of the main composition of the great Kafu. However, in the summer of 2008, he left the club himself, moving to Munich Bavaria . In 2009, he returned to Milan.

On August 31, 2011 he moved to Lecce on a one-year lease basis [1] .

On June 7, 2012, Oddo announced the completion of a player’s career and his intention to become a sports director in the future [2] .

International

As a footballer of the Italian Lazio , he was invited to the Italian national team, his debut took place at the age of 26.

Coaching

In May 2015, Oddo became the new head coach of Pescara , where he previously worked with the youth team [3] . Helped “Pescara” to return to series A [4] .

November 21, 2017 was appointed head coach of Udinese . The contract was signed in accordance with the “1 + 1” scheme [5] . On April 24, 2018, he was fired 2 days after the defeat of Udinese in the home match of the 34th round of the Italian Championship 2017/18 against Crotone (1: 2) [6] .

In October 2018, Oddo was appointed head coach of Crotone, who played in Serie B. Under his leadership, the team played eight matches in which they did not win a single victory. On December 28, Oddo resigned [7] .
