The Democratic Peasant Party of Germany (DKPG; German: Demokratische Bauernpartei Deutschlands , DBD) is a conservative party in the GDR. It existed in 1948-1990.

The Democratic Peasant Party of Germany was formed on April 29, 1948 in the Soviet zone of German occupation . In 1990, it became part of the CDU (GDR) .
Organizational
DKPG consisted of district associations ( bezirksverband ) (until 1952 - land organizations ( landesverband )) one per district, district organizations from district organizations ( kreisverband ) one per district, district organizations from local groups ( ortsgruppe ) one per community.
The supreme body is the Party Congress ( Parteitag ), between party congresses the Central Board ( Zentralvorstand ), the highest official is the Party Chairman ( Parteivorsitzender ), the supreme control body is the party arbitration court ( parteischiedsgericht ), and the supreme audit body is the Central Audit Commission ( Zentra )
