Trinity-Khartsyzsk is an urban-type settlement in the Donetsk region . Since 2014, it has been under the control of the self - proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic [3] [4] . Located on the Krynka River (a tributary of Mius), 12 km southeast of Khartsyzsk. The township council subordinate urban-type settlements Voikovo, Pokrovka, Shakhtnoe, Shirokoye and the village of Pevche.

Geography
The village is located on the Krynka River within the Donetsk Ridge.
In the vicinity of the village there are deep valleys, often with outcrops on the slopes. The watersheds look like weakly wavy plains, almost completely plowed. A characteristic feature of the relief is the presence of forms of anthropogenic origin: heaps , quarries, and more. A characteristic feature of the natural landscape are numerous beams , many of which, due to their unsuitability for agriculture , remain intact.
Coal and limestone are mined in Troitsko-Khartsyzsk.

History
The settlement of Khartsyzsk was founded in 1768. One of its founders was Major General Ivan Dmitrievich Ilovaisky, he owned these lands in 1803-1810. By the name of the settlement Khartsyzsk was named and the railway station, built 8 km from it (now the city of Khartsyzsk). In 1805, a stone church was built in the settlement of Khartsyzskaya in honor of the Holy Trinity, in connection with which the settlement was called Krynsko-Trinity, and eventually - Trinity-Khartsyzskaya, the last name has survived to this day.
Soviet power was established in January 1918.
During the Great Patriotic War, more than 600 residents of the village fought on the fronts and behind enemy lines, of which more than 200 people died the death of the brave, 235 were awarded government awards. During the period of temporary occupation, a partisan detachment operated in the village, which included 13 residents of Troitsko-Khartsyzsk.
At the mass grave of 34 soldiers of the Red Army and partisans who fell in the fight against the Nazis during the liberation of the village, a monument was erected in 1951, and a memorial was erected in the square in 1973 in honor of the fellow countrymen who gave their lives in battles with the Nazi invaders.
For high performance in labor, 98 residents of the village were awarded orders and medals of the USSR:
