Earth Party , port. Partido da Terra , formerly called the port. Movimento o Partido da Terra is a Portuguese green political party , founded on August 12, 1993 by Gonçalo Ribeiro Telles , former chairman of the People's Monarchist Party . It is more right and conservative than the Green Party , adhering to an ecosocialist orientation and blocking with the Portuguese Communist Party . At the same time, the Earth Party demanded a referendum on the Lisbon Treaty .
