Chorsu (metro station)

"Chorsu" ( Uzbek. Chorsu ) - station of the Uzbekistan line of the Tashkent metro . It is located between the Tinchlik and Gafura Gulyama stations. It was opened on November 6, 1989 as part of the Chorsu site - Alisher Navoi .

Feature

A single - vault type station with an underground and above ground lobby, located under Chorsu Square.

Design

The lobby walls and platform are finished with white Gazgan marble, the floor of the station is covered with gray granite.

The station is decorated with bas-reliefs "Ecology" and "Communication of the times" (artist Yu. Kim).
