Story
Wayne Campbell and Garth Elgar are lousy young people, hard rock fans . They invented and run the musical television show "The World of Wayne", popular in the small town of Aurora ( Illinois ). The show caught my eye and impressed the manager of the largest American television company, Ben Kane. He offers the guys a contract, crazy (as Wayne and Garth think) salaries and primetime in their network.
Wayne falls in love with singer Kassandra Wong. To impress a girl, he needs to succeed and stay in the merciless television business in leading positions in the broadcasting schedule. Ben Caine is also partial to Cassandra. Conflict is brewing between the hosts and the TV host. Wayne shows the character and begins to conduct the show as he sees fit.
