Biography
Natalia Matsak began dancing in 4 years. [2] After the children's dance ensemble "Dudarik" Natalia began to practice ballet.
From 1992 to 2000, she studied at the Kiev State Choreographic School under the direction of the choreographer, People's Artist of CCCP - Tatyana Alekseevna Tayakina , in the class of Anna Dmitrievna Petrenchuk. The first big performance of the ballerina on the stage of the National Opera of Ukraine took place in the graduation class. Together with fellow student Andrei Gura, she brilliantly performed the pas de deux from the ballet Don Quixote (music by L. Minkus).
After graduating from the Kiev choreographic school, Natalia was among the artists of the National Opera of Ukraine. In the same year, the ballet troupe was led by the leading soloist of the National Opera of Ukraine, People's Artist of Ukraine Viktor Yaremenko.
The first major achievements of the 18-year-old dancer were pas de trois in the shadow picture in the ballet La Bayadere (music by L. Minkus ) and the production of the Vienna Waltz performance (2001, I. Strauss, music composition) on the stage of the National Opera of Ukraine A. Baklan) choreographer Aniko Rekhviashvili.

In 2004, Natalia Matsak received a diploma of the laureate of the V International Ballet Competition. Serge Lifar in Kiev (second prize). In 2005, Natalia won the third prize at the X International Competition of Ballet Dancers and Choreographers in Moscow . Touring Natalia Matsak was associated with work on the stage of the National Opera of Ukraine . In 2008, by decree of the President of Ukraine V. Yushchenko, the ballerina was awarded the title of Honored Artist of Ukraine , and in April 2010 a creative evening of a dancer took place, which was a debriefing of her first ten years of work on the stage. For reporting performances, the beneficiary chose the one-act ballets Carmen Suite (music by J. Bizet - R. Shchedrin , choreographer A. Alonso) and Scheherazade (music by N. In the summer of 2015, the “Irina Kolesnikova Season” took place in the famous London Coliseum, where Natalia performed the role of Odette-Odile in the ballet Swan Lake , paired with Kimin Kim, the first soloist of the Mariinsky Theater ballet troupe and the role of Gamzatti in the ballet La Bayadere. In recent years, a stage duet has been formed with the Honored Artist of Ukraine , the leading dancer of the National Opera of Ukraine - Denis Nedak . One of the first joint performances took place in April 2008 at the IX International Festival “Serge Lifar de la Dance”, where the dancers presented adajio from the suite “ Suite in White ” (music by E. Lalo , choreographer S. Lifar ). In 2012, both artists received the exclusive right to perform a choreographic excerpt from Boris Eifman ’s ballet “Red Giselle”, telling about the fate of the famous Russian ballerina Olga Spesivtseva (music by P. Tchaikovsky , A. Schnittke , J. Bizet ). The creative duet took part in the XV (June 2009) and XVIII (June 2012) International Ballet Festival R. Nureyev in Ufa. Along with other soloists of ballet corpses from around the world, both performers participated in the “World Ballet Virtuosos” tour (project by Ruslan Nurtdinov, November 2012), covering more than 20 major cities of Russia.
