Natalia Matsak began dancing in 4 years.  After the children's dance ensemble "Dudarik" Natalia began to practice ballet.
From 1992 to 2000, she studied at the Kiev State Choreographic School under the direction of the choreographer, People's Artist of CCCP - Tatyana Alekseevna Tayakina , in the class of Anna Dmitrievna Petrenchuk. The first big performance of the ballerina on the stage of the National Opera of Ukraine took place in the graduation class. Together with fellow student Andrei Gura, she brilliantly performed the pas de deux from the ballet Don Quixote (music by L. Minkus).
After graduating from the Kiev choreographic school, Natalia was among the artists of the National Opera of Ukraine. In the same year, the ballet troupe was led by the leading soloist of the National Opera of Ukraine, People's Artist of Ukraine Viktor Yaremenko.
The first major achievements of the 18-year-old dancer were pas de trois in the shadow picture in the ballet La Bayadere (music by L. Minkus ) and the production of the Vienna Waltz performance (2001, I. Strauss, music composition) on the stage of the National Opera of Ukraine A. Baklan) choreographer Aniko Rekhviashvili.
Soloist of the National Opera and Ballet Theater of Ukraine
In 2001, Natalia received a new official status - the soloist of the National Opera of Ukraine . This event opened up for the young ballerina access, first of all, to roles in ballets of academic heritage ( Corsair by A. Adan , Don Quixote by L. Minkus , Swan Lake , Sleeping Beauty by P. Tchaikovsky , Raymond A Glazunov, etc.).
In 2004, Natalia Matsak received a diploma of the laureate of the V International Ballet Competition. Serge Lifar in Kiev (second prize). During three competitive rounds, the artist presented the audience and the jury pas de deux from the ballets of the classical repertoire ( Swan Lake , Corsair ), as well as a contemporary dance choreography “Dream dance” paired with Maxim Motkov (music by Kitaro Chernenko, choreographer Aniko Rekhviashvili). In 2005, Natalia won the third prize at the X International Competition of Ballet Dancers and Choreographers in Moscow . Among the dance numbers she presented to the audience and the jury were a variation of Odette from Swan Lake , a variation of Kitri from Act 1 of Don Quixote , a variation of Gamzatti from La Bayadere , and a choreographic staging on contemporary themes, Say Hush If You Can ... ”(choreographer Yevgeny Chernov) and others. The legendary stars of the Soviet ballet (O. Lepeshinskaya , Yu. Grigorovich , M. Lavrovsky , N. Bessmertnova , N. Makarova and others) recognized the high level of technical skill of Natalia Matsak, which contributed to the artist’s receipt ouch of rare status within the walls of his native theater is the leading soloist of the National Opera of Ukraine. In 2006, the dancer won first place (a gold medal in the category of senior group) at the VI International Ballet Competition. S. Lifar in Kiev. A special resonance among the audience and honorary members of the jury was caused by the choreographic number “ The Way ” (music by J. Massenet, choreographer Dmitry Klyavin) - it was he who played a decisive role in receiving the ballerina a high award. In 2006, the ballerina was offered one of the main roles in A. Rekhviashvili’s ballet “Daniela” (music by M. Chambery ).
National Academic Bolshoi Theater of Belarus
In 2006-2008, Natalia Matsak performed on the stage of the National Academic Bolshoi Theater of Belarus in Minsk , where she was invited by the artistic director of the theater - Valentin Elizariev ( Swan Lake (2006), an anniversary gala concert in honor of V.'s 60th birthday. National Theater of Japan
In January 2009, Natalia Matsak prepared the Grand Pas Classique (music by D.-F. Ober, choreography by V. Dortmund Opera House
In 2011, in Dortmund (Germany), the dancer managed to gain experience in cooperation with the German choreographer (Art Nouveau style), a graduate of the Berlin Ballet School - Raimondo Rebeck. To perform at the gala concert of world ballet stars with the participation of the ballet troupe of the Dortmund Opera House, the artist prepared the premiere duet “ Yesterday. Today. Tomorrow ”(music by M. Richter ). 
During 2007-2011, Natalia Matsak was a regular guest at the International Classical Ballet Festival. R. Nureyev in Kazan (XX-XXIV). Honored Artist of Ukraine
Touring Natalia Matsak was associated with work on the stage of the National Opera of Ukraine . In 2008, by decree of the President of Ukraine V. Yushchenko, the ballerina was awarded the title of Honored Artist of Ukraine , and in April 2010 a creative evening of a dancer took place, which was a debriefing of her first ten years of work on the stage. For reporting performances, the beneficiary chose the one-act ballets Carmen Suite (music by J. Bizet - R. Shchedrin , choreographer A. Alonso) and Scheherazade (music by N. Rimsky-Korsakov , choreography by M. Fokin, revised V. Yaremenko). In the winter of 2014, as part of the project “Irina Kolesnikova Invites ...”, on the stage of the Paris Palace of Congresses (Palais des congrès de Paris), Natalia Matsak performed the roles of Nikia in the ballet La Bayadere and Odile-Odette in the ballet Swan Lake together with Vadim Muntagirov, Premiere of the English National Ballet. In the summer of 2015, the “Irina Kolesnikova Season” took place in the famous London Coliseum, where Natalia performed the role of Odette-Odile in the ballet Swan Lake , paired with Kimin Kim, the first soloist of the Mariinsky Theater ballet troupe and the role of Gamzatti in the ballet La Bayadere. In December 2015, Natalia performed on the stages of Dnepropetrovsk , Kiev , Odessa and Chisinau as part of the gala concert “Ave Maya!” Dedicated to the memory of Maya Plisetskaya . The beginning of 2016 was marked by Natalia's performances in the ballets Swan Lake and The Nutcracker in Amsterdam ( Netherlands ) and Belgrade ( Serbia ), as well as in the ballet Don Quixote in Riga ( Latvia ).
Work with Denis Nedak
In recent years, a stage duet has been formed with the Honored Artist of Ukraine , the leading dancer of the National Opera of Ukraine - Denis Nedak . One of the first joint performances took place in April 2008 at the IX International Festival “Serge Lifar de la Dance”, where the dancers presented adajio from the suite “ Suite in White ” (music by E. Lalo , choreographer S. Lifar ). In 2012, both artists received the exclusive right to perform a choreographic excerpt from Boris Eifman ’s ballet “Red Giselle”, telling about the fate of the famous Russian ballerina Olga Spesivtseva (music by P. Tchaikovsky , A. Schnittke , J. Bizet ). The creative duet took part in the XV (June 2009) and XVIII (June 2012) International Ballet Festival R. Nureyev in Ufa. Along with other soloists of ballet corpses from around the world, both performers participated in the “World Ballet Virtuosos” tour (project by Ruslan Nurtdinov, November 2012), covering more than 20 major cities of Russia.
