Olsen, Fridtjof

Fridtjof Olsen ( Norwegian Frithjof Olsen ; November 30, 1882 , Drammen - February 22, 1922 , Oslo ) - Norwegian gymnast , medalist of the Summer Olympic Games .

At first, Olsen, along with his team, won the unofficial Olympic Games of 1906 in Athens , but the awards received at the competitions are not recognized by the International Olympic Committee , since the Games were held without his consent.

At the 1908 Games in London, Olsen participated in the team championship, in which his team took second place. He also competed in the individual competition, but his exact place and result is unknown.

Four years later, he played for the Norwegian team at the 1912 Olympics in Stockholm . In the competition for the Swedish system, his team took third place.
