At the 1908 Games in London, Jespersen participated in the team championship, in which his team took second place. He also competed in the individual competition, but his exact place and result is unknown.
Two years earlier, he and his team had won the unofficial Olympic Games of 1906 in Athens , but the awards received at the competitions were not recognized by the International Olympic Committee , since the Games were held without his consent.
