Yonozero - a lake in the Murmansk region , located in the east of the Kola Peninsula . It belongs to the basin of the Barents Sea and is connected with it by the Varzina River flowing from the lake [3] .

The area of the mirror is 94.4 km², the catchment area is 982 km² [4] . Height above sea level - 220 m [1] .
It consists of two parts connected by a 350 m wide duct. The lake is mainly snow and rain fed. The coast is rugged, rocky. [five]
