Story
Victoria Warshawski is a cool Chicago private detective who has all the gentlemanly qualities that are inherent in the people of her profession (as the cinema depicts them): she likes to drink, fight, constantly sharpens and does not part with a gun. Which, however, does not prevent her from remaining a romantic woman who believes in true love.
Once Victoria met a former hockey player nicknamed Boom Boom. After a wonderful romantic evening, she even agreed to sit with his 13-year-old daughter Kat. That same night, Boom Boom was killed. Victoria has to investigate this crime, punish the killers and help the girl, who has no one else to count on.
