Story
Mick Dundee and Sue Charlton live together in New York . Mick can’t get used to city life in any way and from time to time does not change his habit of fishing with dynamite near the Statue of Liberty . However, his popularity, thanks to an article that Sue wrote at one time, makes it possible to resolve the conflict with the authorities. “Crocodile” Mick, in order not to die of boredom, tries to find work, makes acquaintance with the African American Leroy, who creates the image of a tough guy, in fact, being just an ordinary small-scale wholesale seller of office supplies.
Sue's former friend, Bob Tenner, unwillingly, falls into the field of observation of the Colombian mafia, taking several photographs that compromise the drug lord Rico. Bob manages to send pictures of Sue, trusting only her. Traders find out about this, having listened to the phone in the hotel in which he was staying, and they immediately kill him. Louis Rico and his thugs travel to New York to intercept the letter. Sue is taken hostage and demanded to return the tape, however, by telephone they find out that Mick took the letter with the tape. They are trying to force Mika to give the coveted film in exchange for the bride. First they demand that they bring a letter to the Hoyt metro station, but Mick understands that they are most likely cheating him, and, with the help of two Japanese tourists, he neutralizes the bandit who came for the film. After some time, a bandit Filippa comes to Miku, whom Miku manages to neutralize alone. Hanging him by the feet on the balcony, Mick receives information from the bandit about the whereabouts of Rico in New York. Rico Mansion is located on Long Island. Together with Leroy, Mick arrives at the mansion where Sue is located, but it turns out that the mansion is equipped with the most advanced security system: cameras and infrared rays. Leroy contacts New York punk bullies to distract the mansion's security. Punks begin to bully around the mansion, making a terrible howl. At this time, Mick enters the mansion and, figuring out which room Sue is in, kicks the door out with a statue, injuring Rico himself. Sue and Mick come out unscathed.
Drug dealers, devoured by a thirst for revenge, do not calm down and chase a couple everywhere, even shell their apartment. The Drug Enforcement Administration is not able to provide adequate protection, and Mick and Sue take refuge in Australia. Rico and his retinue, however, find lovers even in the bush of the Northern Territories - with Rico's partner, Miguel, Frank lives in the same places. Gangsters kidnap Mick's friend, Walter Riley, and force Dundee to surrender, threatening to kill Walter. But Mick slightly wounds Walter with a shot from a rifle, after which the bandits take Walter into the guides, believing that he knows the places in the area well and will lead them to Dundee's trail. Mick, feeling in a bush like a fish in water, begins to mock the bandits. First, with the help of a live buffalo, rope and Sue's bra, he kidnaps Frank, then - the bandit Garcia, when he goes to the river for coffee water. At night, Mick arranges an attack by flying foxes on the bandits, and then throws a sack of live python to them. In the morning, the gang discovers that their friend Jose has disappeared. Two bandits, Denning and Erskine, decide to run away from Rico and Miguel, spit on the promised money, but Erskine falls into the hands of Aboriginal friends of Dundee, and Denning gets in the face from Donk - a friend of Mick. Walter, Rico and Miguel follow in the footsteps of Dundee, specially left for them. Mick lures bandits into Jaba Point, the road to which lies across the river with crocodiles. Rico requires Walter to go first, Walter grabs and drags the crocodile to the bottom. This crocodile is Dundee, fastened on the skin. In this way, Mick saves Walter. Rico and Miguel cross the river and follow in the footsteps of Dundee, but they understand that they just won’t be able to deal with him. Rico is visited by the idea of setting fire to the forest, after which he climb onto a rock and force Dundee to climb there. But Mick, with the help of Aboriginal friends, catches Rico and changes clothes with him. Miguel is the first to climb the rock and kills, as he thinks, Dundee. But Sue, who came there with Walter, kills Miguel with one shot. Walter shoots, as he thought, at Rico. After some time, an aboriginal Charlie comes up to them and praises Walter that he does not know how to shoot, since he almost killed the disguised Dundee. At this time, Mick climbs onto the rock. Sue, realizing that Mick is alive, runs to meet him. Lovers understand that they will never part. Sue decides to stay living in Australia ...
