Story
The film begins April 11, 1983 [2] . The main character, policeman Mason Storm (Steven Seagal) crossed the road to a corrupt politician, Vernon Trent (Bill Sadler). He filmed on camera evidence of his criminal activities. As a result, it is decided to remove. His family is being killed. It would seem that Storm himself is also not a tenant, but at the last moment the doctors manage to save the policeman, but he remains in a coma . Upon learning of this, his friend, Kevin O'Malley (Frederick Coffin), also a police officer, decides that it is better for Storm to remain dead until he speaks. He puts Storm under the name John Doe in the hospital.
Storm spent seven years in a coma. When he awoke, he immediately realizes that he can be removed at any time. His nurse Andy (Kelly Lebrok) does not believe him. She follows Kevin's instructions and calls the police station to report that the patient has come out of a coma. But she makes a mistake. The police station is now run by corrupt police officers reporting to Trent. The killer is sent to the hospital. But Storm and his nurse manage to escape. She hides it in the house of a doctor who is on a business trip. There Storm regains its former form. He meets with O'Malley and he tells him that his son is alive, and is in a shelter under a different name.
Corrupt police in the meantime arrange a serious hunt for Storm. They follow Andy and come to the shelter, but Storm manages to escape. Meanwhile, the gangsters are watching O'Malley, an old friend of Storm, they find him at the station with the child. They realize that this is the son of Mason Storm. The boy runs away, and O'Malley tries to protect him. As a result, the former policeman dies. The bandits are stalking the child, but Storm appears just in time. He kills the bandits and saves his son.
Now nothing prevents him from taking revenge on the one who stole his wife and seven years of life - Trent. He comes to the house of the politician, kills all his guards. He is going to remove the politician himself, but then there are policemen who say that O'Melli handed over the evidence tape to the police, and now they know everything there. Police arrest Trent. The tape with the record is shown in the news.
