Endless story 2

After the events of the first film, Bastian’s life did not get much better: he still doesn’t have close relations with his father, and in the swimming team he is teased because of fear of heights. In the end, Bastian returns to that very bookstore and again finds The Endless Story. The Queen of Fantasy from the pages of the book asks him for help, and he again goes to the magical world.

In Fantasy, he meets with his old friend Atreio, his dragon Falcor and many other characters of the first part, including the stone-eater, and also meets the humanoid bird Nimbly). His main opponent is the evil sorceress Xaida, who controls the army of mechanical giants and, in general, everything that is empty. She tries to destroy the boy, convincing him to give up duty and use Orin only for the fulfillment of her own desires. However, with the fulfillment of every desire, Bastian loses his memories of his own world, and friends fail to convince him.

Meanwhile, the boy’s father unsuccessfully tries to find his son: neither the police nor Mr. Koreander can help him. Finally he finds a book and sees inside Bastian.

Atreio successfully exposes Xayda to a friend, and he, by then having retained only the memory of his father, enters into battle with her. He uses his last desire to return the witch's heart and feelings, and then, thanks to the support of his father, he overcomes his fear of heights, jumps off a cliff and returns to his world.
