Abir
Abir is a multi-colored powder paint , often used in India .
Traditionally, abir is used during the "festival of colors" Holi , when people throw this multi-colored powder into each other. Before the festival, abir is sold in markets and stores in India.
Abir is synthetic or natural origin. Various shades of natural abir are obtained from flowers such as calendula , hibiscus , dopati, etc. To give it a shine, mica powder is sometimes added to the paint.
