White Volta ( fr. Volta Blanche ), also known as Nakanbe - the upper reaches of the Volta River in West Africa . It is about 640 km long, and its pool covers an area of 400,000 km². Not shipping. The source is in Burkina Faso , flows into Lake Volta in Ghana . Main tributaries: Black Volta and Red Volta .
