Ayutla de los Libres ( Spanish: Ayutla de los Libres ,) - the city of Mexico , in the state of Guerrero , the center of the eponymous municipality . In 2010, it had a population of 15,370 people and was the largest settlement in the municipality [1] .

History
With the uprising in Ayutla on March 1, 1854, the , the purpose of which was to overthrow the dictatorship of Santa Anna and carry out reforms (" ") [2] .
Title
The name Ayutla comes from a word in the Nahuatl language, meaning approximately "near the place where many turtles live." The part “de los Libres” (from the Spanish - “free”) appeared after the uprising of 1854 [3] .
