Story
The young and successful writer Roger does not get everything stuck in real life: his wife left him and he lost his son. In addition, the publishing house asked him to write new-fangled horror stories instead of his novel about the Vietnam War . As a result, Roger arrives in an old mansion where he spent his childhood, where he lost his son and where his aunt recently hanged himself. Starting to write his book, Roger began to constantly hear some extraneous noises coming from the most different corners of the two-story house. Going to one of these noises, Roger found his recently hung aunt who told him to leave this house without fail and as soon as possible. Not listening to her, Roger sat down to write a book again, but soon, however, he again heard an extraneous noise coming from the closet. Going to check the cause of the noise, Roger ran into a creature that attacked him directly from the closet. After Roger barely fought off the attack of the creature, the latter disappeared without a trace.
However, Roger is concerned not only with the house itself, but also with the external manifestations of life, and it is precisely at the moments of creative thought - policemen come to him on an insignificant matter, a neighbor asks to sit with her son, another neighbor just comes to chat and have a beer and so on.
