Metro-tytöt is a female vocal trio from Finland that existed from 1947 to 1959 . The name of the trio can be translated as "Girls from the subway."

History
Initially, the ensemble included the sisters Anna-Liisa and Hertta Vyakevyaynen , and their cousin Annikki Vyakevyaynen ; the latter was soon replaced by a singer of Russian origin Tamara Khramova . The ensemble's artistic director was Harry Bergstrom .
Over the twelve years of its existence, the ensemble has recorded many romances, for example Taikayö, Äiti, sytytä lamppu, Leskiäidin tyttäret, Hiljainen kylätie and others. In addition, many Finnish singers of that time recorded with the ensemble, in particular Olavi Wirth , Henry Teel , Juha Airto and Matti Louhiwuori (the latter was married to Hertta Väkeväinen). In 1959, the ensemble ceased to exist.
