Siakh Rud [1] ( pers. سیهرود ) is a city in northern Iran , in the province of East Azerbaijan . The administrative center of the bakhsh siah rud in the shulfan of Julfa .

Siakh Rud is located on the southern bank of the Araks River , along the channel of which the border with Armenia and Azerbaijan passes. Altitude - 823 meters . On the opposite bank is the Azerbaijani city of Ordubad . To the east is the border market and the terminal with Armenia, where a bridge is thrown across Araks, as well as the Iran-Armenia gas pipeline .
