Story
Tagline : "Believe him ... he's a cop."
Raymond Avilla and Amy Wallis of the Los Angeles Police Department of Internal Investigation are watching police Dennis Pack. Pack's partner, Van Stretch, agrees to testify against him to avoid trial. Peck threatens Avilla's wife if he does not stop the investigation, and Stretch is wounded by the criminal hired by Peck and dies at the hands of his partner. Pack manages to justify the killing by self-defense.
Avilla sees his wife with Pack, who is trying to convince him that they have an affair, although Kathleen claims the opposite. But pressure on the Pack family is bearing fruit; Pack's wife points to one of her husband’s accomplices, Stephen Arrokas. Meanwhile, Stephen finds his wife and Pack in his own house, but dies at the hands of Pack, who injures Wallace, who arrived with Avilla at the house of the suspect.
Avilla, fearing for Kathleen’s life, hurries home ...
