Ulan-Ude cellular network (UUSS) Until December 1, 2010, the largest mobile operator in the GSM 900/1800 standard in the Republic of Buryatia was a structural unit of the Buryat branch of Sibirtelecom OJSC . It was founded on April 23, 1998 . [1] Currently, the company is merged with the operator Baikalvestk , the provision of services under the UUSS brand has been discontinued.

In 2001, UUSS was the first mobile operator in Russia to accept credit cards via the Internet for mobile services. [3] The subscriber base for February 2009 is more than 600,000 subscribers.
Reorganization
On December 1, 2010, the company ceased operations under its own brand. Instead, it now operates the Ulan-Ude branch of Baikalvestcom . [four]
