Ilyinka (Astrakhan region)

Ilyinka is an urban-type settlement in the Ikryaninsky district of the Astrakhan region of Russia , the administrative center and the only settlement of the municipality "Ilyinka Worker Village" with the status of an urban settlement. [2]

Geography

The village is located in the southern part of the region, 13 km south-west of Astrakhan and 24 km north-east of the district center of the village of Ikryanoe . In the Volga delta on the banks of the Volga, on both sides of the highway P216 Astrakhan - Liman.

History

The village was created in 1730. The status of an urban-type settlement is from 1968, and a working settlement from 1996. [3]
