Geographical position

The village is located 7 kilometers south of Kramatorsk station east of the Donetsk railway on the left bank of the Kazenny End .

Name Origin

From the founder of the village, the landowner Taranov. The unofficial names of the village are Komyshevashka [2] , Odnosteblova [3] . Not far from Malotaranovka, the Komyshevashka River flows into the Kazenny Torets River . It also directly indicated the location of the farm, its proximity to the mouth of the river of the same name, which flowed nearby and flowed into the Kazenny Torets.

History

The first written mention of Malotaranovka dates back to the end of the 1850s - the beginning of the 1860s and is in the inventory of the general and special land surveying of the Izyumsky district of the Kharkov province [2] .

It is occupied by German troops on October 24, 1941 [4] .

Released in September 1943.

In 1951, a stopping point was opened.
