The village is located on the western part of the main passage of the Oktyabrskaya Railway , 25 km northwest of Okulovka (69 km by road [2] ), to the administrative center of the rural settlement - the village of Borovenka 10 km to the southeast (17 km by road [2] .

History
In the Novgorod province, the village was assigned to the Zaruchevsky volost of the Krestetsky district , and since March 30, 1918 of the Malovishersky district . Until 2005, it belonged to the Torbinsky Village Council .
Transport
- The stopping point is the “220 km platform” located in the northern part of the village; the Okulovka – Malaya Vishera and Bologoe-Moskovskoe – Malaya Vishera electric trains stop.
