The distance to Kiev is 48 km, to Brovary - 33 km, to the highway M-01 ( E-95 ) Kiev- Chernihiv - 4 km.

In January 1989, the population was5447 people ^[2] .

In September 2001, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved a decision on the privatization of an agricultural combine located in the village ^[3] .

As of January 1, 2013, the population was 4765 people ^[4] .
