Gameplay
The gameplay takes place in real time. The player simultaneously controls one of four specialized characters, namely: Tal swordsman, Eilish the sorceress, Buki the beast girl and Elko the shooter. Switching between the heroes is possible, so you can control each of the heroes. Later their “shadow” copies became available, having different clothes, weapons and special attacks.
Story
Translated from Japanese, the name of the game sounds like "Fine", as the game was originally supposed to be called "Suteki". The primary deity divorced himself from boredom into two brothers Tetsu and Haigu, who ruled this single world, but quarreled. Tetsu won in the confrontation, but Haigu managed to divide Sudeki’s world into Haskilia, where light reigns, and Akloria, where eternal darkness reigns, and its inhabitants go crazy because there is no light. The balance was broken: now in Haskilia the maximum is only evening, there is no night at all, and in Akloria there is constant darkness, which is highlighted by rare lightning or lava of volcanoes. Historically significant time passes and the inhabitants of both planets forget about the origins of this division.
It all starts with the fact that the Acorians attack through the portals the capital of the largest state of Haskilia, the kingdom of Illumin, as a result of which Queen Lucius calls on the soldiers to help. Tal is called first because he is in the royal army and knows what hopes his father, General Arlo, has after him, after the death of his eldest son, Tal's brother. At this time, Princess Eilish quarrels with her mother and leaves for the village of Bright Waters (Brightwater). The mechanic Elko, who lost his hand during an accident, was indebted to the queen for a new (mechanical) one and is happy to work on the creation of a protective magic machine for the Illumina. Buki refuses to cooperate with the queen, because he believes that Illumin does not deserve the trust of her tribe. Tal returns Ailish to the castle, his father reproaches him for the fact that only he survived during the protection of Illumina, and the entrusted army was killed or wounded. After one of the campaigns, Tal meets General Arlo in his house, where some kind of reconciliation takes place.
Gradually, all the heroes learn that Sudeki was once a single world, but was divided; the heroes have to deal with difficulties on the path envisioned by Tetsu. Later it will turn out that there are almost exact copies of the main characters in Akloria: a copy of Tal is Kazel, a copy of Eilish - Aleksin, a copy of Elko - Kafu, a copy of Buki - Nico, that is, there are eight main characters. The heroes of Akloria have the same patrons, the ancient generals of the Tetsu army - the wolf warrior Kariston, the wizard-mage Olivitess, the dragon Lebius and the cat Mo (it is logical that since they acted before the separation of Sudeki, their cults are the same in both worlds).
Meanwhile, in Akloria, the brother of Casela Talos (unlike his counterpart in Haskilia, he survived) makes a secret deal with Queen Lucia and commits treason against Casel and his three friends. With the help of a magical mechanism that sucks up the remaining energy from dark Akloria, Lucia decided to become immortal in the process of reviving Haigu in Talos’s body (this can be calculated from what is in the “red room”, the key to this room can be obtained from children who play the courtyard of the southern courtroom, but they will not rob you much; if you find all three, then you will get the key to this room from the last - if you carefully examine it, you can understand that someone was watching and listening to the events in the courtroom, and there is a diary at the top , which is constantly updated, it is written by Talos himself).
Elko, after he delivered Talos to Lucia and 4 crystals to the car, realizes the whole depth of the plan, and taking his wife Tilly with him, escapes from Illumina, after having committed a sabotage, which is regarded as a betrayal. After that, the heroes (and there were a total of eight of them in the game) merge with their "doubles" (during the development of the game it was assumed that the names of these characters would change to something average, but it was decided to leave their Haskili versions to avoid confusion). After the merger, the heroes fall into a vacuum, where they learn that the agreement between Talos and Lucia was violated by Talos himself, who had already reincarnated as Heigu. After the rebirth, Talos / Heigu kills the queen (the game only shows how he throws the head of the dead queen under Eilish's feet). Only Tal is chosen to fight Haigu as the chosen one of Tetsu. There is a final battle, the victorious outcome of which is the death of Talos / Heigu and, finally, the merger of the two worlds and their population.
