Biography
Born in a family of musicians, immigrants from Italy. He graduated from the school of dramatic art and in 1945 played his first role in the cinema - in the film by Christian Jacques "Sorcery" (Sortileges). He became famous after the film of Jean-Luc Godard "Contempt." He starred in more than 100 films.
