History

It was first mentioned in the document of the chancellery to Alexander Lepushnyan of 1558. [7] In the dialect of local residents there are most parallels with Ukrainian dialects of Bukovina and Belz land (see phonetic table and comparative dictionary [8] ). All this allows the authors of the cited work to suggest that Bulaesti was founded around the 14th century by Belz natives.

Geography

The village is located at an altitude of 164 meters above sea level [2] .

According to the 2004 census , 1719 people live in the village of Bulaesti (807 men, 912 women) [3] .
