Urim ( Hebrew אורים ) is a kibbutz located near the border with the Gaza Strip , 30 km west of Be'er Sheva .

History
Kibbutz was founded in Yom Kippur in 1946 from October 5 to 6 during Operation 11 Settlements in the Negev desert .
The founders of the kibbutz were mostly Jews from Bulgaria, later settlers were mostly from North America.
Population
According to the Central Bureau of Statistics of Israel , the population at the beginning of 2018 was 475 people [1] .
