Content
History
The opening of the station took place on December 1, 2011 as part of the first starting section of the Almaty Metro Raiymbek Batyr - Alatau .
Vestibules and Transplants
Entrances-exits to the underground lobby are located along Baitursynov Street in the south-east and south-west intersection with Abai Avenue in the Bostandyk district of the city. The south-eastern entrance is equipped with a double-tapered escalator with a lifting height of 6.0 m and a length of 12.0 m.
Technical Specification
A deep-laid column three-vaulted station (depth 20 m) with an inter-path 18.1 m. It consists of three halls - the central and two side rooms, which form a common island platform 15.2 m wide and 104 m long. Escalators descend to the station ( 4 tapes) with a height of 20.0 m, length 40.0 m.
Architecture and layout
The design of the station in high-tech style is associated with the Baikonur cosmodrome . For wall decoration used cladding metal panels of blue and light gray. The floor is lined with gray granite. At the end of the platform area, a video wall advertising information panel, assembled from 16 LED displays, is installed .

Station Construction
Below are the most significant events [1] :
- January 2006 - connection of the left distillation tunnel from the station to them. Auezov .
- June 2006 - connection of the right-sided tunnel from the side of the station to them. Auezov .
- 2007 - the beginning of the construction of an inclined course.
- January 2008 - Metrostroiteli passed 5-10 meters of inclined course. The deadlines are being broken due to the fact that for 3 months there are no metal tubings.
- April 2008 - connection of the right-sided tunnel from the Abay station.
- May 2008 - the construction of the ventilation hoods began. May 20 began the disclosure of the station.
- July 2008 - Spoka of the left distillation tunnel from the Abay station. Construction of the tunnels of the first stage is completed.
- April 2010 - work is carried out on the construction of the lobby, the main lining of the average station tunnel, the internal structures of the platform part, and the laying of utilities. In the second half of the year it is planned to install escalators.
