“ Say It's Not True ” (“Say it's not true”) is Queen + Paul Rodgers ' first studio single from The Cosmos Rocks . Written by Queen's drummer, Roger Taylor . Each member of the group sang one verse. It was released December 1, 2007, World AIDS Day. The song was performed at all the concerts of the Queen + Paul Rodgers World Tour , but then Brian May played the acoustic guitar , and Roger Taylor sang the whole song. Also, the song was performed at all concerts of the Rock the Cosmos Tour , including the concert "Life Must Go On" in Kharkov . Then Roger Taylor sang the first verse and the chorus, Brian May played the Red Special electric guitar, singing the second verse. After the second verse, the chorus was sung by the duo of May and Taylor, and Paul Rogers sang the song until the end. The song could also be purchased by downloading it from the QueenOnline.com band's official website. The song was written specifically for Nelson Mandela and all AIDS victims. The song is included in Taylor's personal album Fun On Earth (2013), the tenth track, performed with Jeff Beck.
