Vernebisovo ( Vernibisovo ) is a village in the Smolensk region of Russia , in the Kardymovsky district . It is located in the central part of the region 15 km south-east of Kardymov , on the right bank of the Dnieper , 0.5 km west of the Pridneprovskaya station on the Smolensk - Sukhinichi railway line. The population is 19 inhabitants ( 2007 ). It is part of the Tyushinsky rural settlement .

History
Until 1859, the village was the owner's village by the Dnieper River, 8 yards, 119 residents. In 1904, the village is part of the Tsurikov volost of Smolensk district, 47 courtyards, 301 residents, 2 shops. In 1941, an underground hospital arose in the village. Later, in 1941-1942 , an underground group functioned in the village, created by senior lieutenant L.I. Simonenkov.
