Swordmaster is a black / thrash / death metal band founded by Andreas Bergl (Vinnie Whiplasher) and Emil Nöddveidt (Naughty Nightmare) in 1993 .

History
In 1993, after the first rehearsal, the band members recorded several tracks, and despite the fact that the labels were in no hurry to collaborate with them, they continued to record material. The band finally formed only when bassist Thunderbolt joined it. A contract was finally signed with Fullmoon Production, Florida, USA, and MC Wraths of Time was recorded in the spring of 1995. After that, Thunderbolt left Swordmaster to join Dissection , and drummer Nicky Terror ( Sacramentum , Deathwitch , Runemagick, Funeral Orchestra ) was taken in his place, and Ole Öhman ( Dissection ) also participated in the project.
In February 1996, Swordmaster recorded 2 tracks ("Claws of Death", "Metallic Devastation") for collections produced by Andy La Rocque ( King Diamond ), which led the group to Osmose Productions, France. In December 1996, the first Postmortem Tales album was recorded on Los Angered Recording in Gothenburg, produced by Andy La Rocque.
In April 1997, the group recorded the album "Deathrider", the vinyl version of which contains 2 bonus tracks, and in the summer performed at "With A Dragon's Blaze Festival" in Belgium. In December 1998, after joining the new guitarist Ricky Corpse, Swordmaster continued the tour “The World Domination Tour, Part II” with Dark Tranquillity , Enslaved , Bewitched , Dellamorte and Demoniac .
The Swordmaster project disbanded at the beginning of 2000 , its main members created the death metal industrial group Deathstars .
