The main educational program - 54.05.05 Painting and fine arts. The license for the right to conduct activities in the field of higher vocational education was obtained on July 9, 2012, the same year the student recruitment took place and the first academic year began. The preparation of artists-specialists of a wide profile is designed for six years (VI course - graduation) and is conducted both on a budget and on a paid basis. Education in drawing and painting is combined with the practical development of various techniques of visual art . The basis of the educational process is an academic drawing.
For applicants conducted preparatory courses in painting, drawing and composition. The Academy has a hostel.
Additional education
The faculty of additional education organizes educational courses in such areas as watercolor painting, academic drawing, oil painting, Roman mosaic, sculpture, pottery, and also conducts advanced training courses for teachers.
Museum and Exhibition Complex
The Academy building houses the Museum and Exhibition Complex, in the halls of which there is a permanent exhibition of works by Sergei Andriyaka (about 300 works of the artist are located on the second floor), as well as exhibitions from museum collections of various Russian cities, from private collections, as well as exhibitions of works by teachers and Academy students.
The Academy is an Art Salon, which sells a variety of materials for artists, as well as educational and souvenir products of the Academy, albums and catalogs of exhibitions issued by the Academy.
Library
The library fund of the Academy has over 5000 units of storage and is at the stage of formation.
The Academy also has a cinema and concert hall, a fitness center and a hostel.
