Jelling is a village in Denmark on the Jutland Peninsula (80 km from Aarhus and 10 km from Vejle ). The population is 3370 people (as of January 1, 2014) [1] .

Runestones in Jelling .
In Jelling, the first Danish king Gorm the Old and his wife Tira reigned and were supposedly buried. Two burial mounds and two runestones along with the church at the burial site are listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site [2] . In the south of the city is Lake Forup .
