History
It was the village of Berdichevsky district of the Kiev province of the Russian Empire .
During the Great Patriotic War in 1941-1944. The village was occupied by German troops .
In January 1989, the population size was2727 people [2] .
As of January 1, 2013, the population was 2,299 [3] .
Religion
In the village there is a temple of the Intercession of the Most Holy Theotokos of Kazatinsky Prosperity of the Vinnitsa Diocese of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church [4] .
