Story
On the distant planet Lumimaire, a great treasure - the Lightstar Crystal - is a source of energy for the entire vast city of Luminicity. The custody and custody of the Crystal is entrusted to the royal family, which, after the death of the king, is headed by the eldest of his children, Prince Justin Star of the Light. His younger brother, Prince Joshua, envious of his brother’s success and popularity and fooled by the treacherous Baron Dark, opens the Baron access to the treasury where the crystal is stored, but at that moment, Alarmed appears along with the third representative of the royal family, his sister Princess Jennifer. Holding a crystal glowing with light in his hands, the Baron, gloating, reveals to Joshua, who had suddenly seen his sight, his intentions and goals, which are nothing more than a desire to control the whole world. In the ensuing battle between the Baron and the royal family, the Starlight Crystal is split in two - one half remains with the Baron, turning it into a monstrous and powerful skeleton, the second is in the hands of Prince Justin and Princess Jennifer, giving them unusual powers. Caught in the center of the flash from the cracking Crystal, Prince Joshua turns into a half-dead, however, preserving his humanity, but subsequently forced to constantly fight for it with his dark side. Stunned by the transformation, the Baron leaves the treasury, taking with him half of the Crystal, while the city of Luminicity, deprived of energy, is plunged into chaos and darkness.
Immediately after this, the Baron transforms his closest associates into the same living skeletons as he himself - this ability to turn evil-hearted into skeletons, together with indestructibility and monstrous power, is a gift from his half of the Crystal. At this time, Justin discovers that he can shoot rays of light, Jennifer opens his gift to fly, and Joshua - his ability to move through the shadows. The latter allows him to take his brother and sister out of the crumbling treasury, after which the relatives go to their uncle, their father’s brother, Ursak, where they find support equally moral and technical. Realizing that Baron of Darkness cannot be stopped so easily now, Prince Justin creates the Legion of Light, taking on himself the name of the Prince of the Bright Star. Jennifer takes the name Tylin, while Joshua, tormented by guilt for her involuntary betrayal, is now known as the Gloomy Skull. Ursak, who performed this small ritual named position, calls himself the Keeper, and from now on plays the role of a technical expert and adviser, while his nephews and niece are fighting the evil Skeleton Warriors who want to enslave the planet left without Crystal energy.
Characters
- Justin / Prince Lightstar
Prince Justin is the leader of the Legion of Light and his mission is to protect Lightstar Crystal. After his loss, he constantly seeks to protect humanity and the defeat of skeleton warriors. He very upset the baron, showing the limits of his power: a man with a good heart cannot be turned into a skeleton warrior. When Lightstar Crystal was destroyed, Justin gained the ability to project powerful currents of energy from his hands, either through his sword, which Ursak later explains is (or which might contain, considering the dimensions of the sword and crystal) is actually part of Lightstar Crystal.
- Jennifer / Talyn
Talyn is a fierce warrior, a kind princess with a caring soul and an unwavering advocate of justice. She somehow manages to combine devotion to the fight against evil with great compassion. After the fight in which the Lightstar Crystal collapsed, she received the gift of flying and was able to reconcile Justin with Joshua. One of her exploits is a way to restore the skeleton to a person - removing his "heart stone", which appears after turning into a skeleton. Although this discovery is a tactical advantage and a source of hope, it also hurt Baron Dark, if the skeleton warrior is restored to human form, he can use his power to turn him back into a skeleton, but since he was the only one who possessed such power, whoever restores himself, no one can turn him back into a living skeleton.
- Joshua / Grimskull
Justin's younger brother, who initially worked with Baron Dark out of envy for his older brother. When Justin and Dark fought for the Lightstar Crystal, Joshua intervened. The resulting wave of power turned him into a half-dead. Joshua - was renamed Grimskull - Grim Skull. Grimskull seeks salvation in his path, helping his family, he saw the evil baron during the battle in which he turned him. Grimskull gained the power to pass through the shadow wherever he wishes. After his transformation, he became friends with the wolf, whom he called "Stalker."
- Ursac / Guardian (Guardian)
Ursac is the brother of the late king and uncle of his three children. He serves as an adviser, deputy commander, mentor and surrogate father. He is a skilled combatant at the front, as well as a very competent scientist designing various types of weapons and armor for members of the Legion of the Light.
- Baron Dark
The greedy and evil baron tried to capture Lightstar Crystal for himself, which led to his split into two parts. His half turned him into a living skeleton, which has the power to turn anyone with the slightest darkness in his heart into a skeleton warrior, like himself. He defeated the Legion of the Light, and took control of both halves of the Lightstar Crystal, thereby securing absolute power.
- Dr. Cyborne
Dr. Kiborn is half of the skeleton / half of the machine, who is a scientific expert on Baron Dark and a manufacturer of high-tech weapons. Dr. Kiborn is a mad scientist of the Skeleton Legion and Deputy Baron Dark. Self-created in his crazy laboratory, Dr. Kiborn grafted bionic parts to his own body after a fatal accident. The scientist’s dream came true when Baron Dark gave him the shape of a skeleton. Now, this genius serves the Baron as he develops a weapon to destroy the Legion of Light.
- Shriek
A previously stunningly beautiful woman, Shrik, with his evil heart, was transformed into a Skeleton Warrior woman to “add a little feminine touch,” according to Baron Dark. In those days, before becoming a living skeleton, Shrik convincingly attracted Prince Justin. After she became a Skeleton Warrior, her feelings remain, although they do not meet the answer.
- Aracula
Aracles (arachnid - arachnids) - creatures with six arms, before turning into a Skeleton Warrior, Aracula speaks exclusively with grunts, squeals and other animal sounds. He serves primarily as a bodyguard and berserker, such as a fighter who tries to crush his opponent with simple brute force. He still has spider abilities, despite the fact that he is a skeleton.
- Dagger
Initially, the dwarf slave assistant Baron Dark, later his dwarf slave, skeletal assistant. Dagger brings a little humor to their company, but he’s mostly a faithful servant of the Baron. Even when he was restored to man, he continued to serve the Baron and longed to return to the skeletal state of his master.
