Arkuni Road

Arkuni Road ( Armenian Արքունի պողոտա , the royal road) is the main road connecting the two capitals of Great Armenia - Artashat and Tigranakert . The road was open in the 80s BC. e. under Tigran II after the restoration of the old road. It had great military and commercial importance. Under this name, the road was known until the IV - V centuries .
