Emblem description: “In a green field, a silver narrow overturned rafter (tamga of the Bashkir clan of Yurmata ), the left side of which is wider and extended to the bottom of the shield, filled with azure, in which a mountain scarred with a saddle on top, bordered with silver at the top, burdened with a golden abstract fountain about two jets and accompanied in azure by the golden inflorescence of kurai ” .
The emergence and development of the city of Ishimbay is associated with the discovery of oil fields. Well No. 702 , the first oil fountain in 1932 and located on the territory of the city, is depicted with a symbolic image of a golden fountain. Ishimbay is the administrative center of the Ishimbay region , the connection with the nature of which is reflected in two elements - a green field and a symbolic image of Mount Tratau (a silver strip with a saddle). The silver overturned rafter - a stylized tribal tamga of the Bashkir tribe of Yurmata and at the same time the right lane symbolizes the Belaya River , which is two times wider than the left lane representing the Tayruk river. Gold color symbolizes justice, wealth and independence, green symbolizes abundance, joy and freedom. Azure depicts beauty and grandeur, red - victory and love. The golden kurai over Mount Tratau symbolizes the holding of kurultays of Bashkir tribes on this mountain .
