Koreb (son of Migdon)

Koreb ( other Greek: Κόροιβος ) is a character in ancient Greek mythology [1] . The son of Migdon [2] . Groom of Cassandra [3] . Arrived in Troy to marry Cassandra, but was killed by Neoptolemus ; or (according to the poem of Lesheus and Quintus) by Diomedes on the night of the capture of Troy [4] . Or he tried to save Cassandra and was killed by Peneley [5] . Depicted in the painting Polygnot at Delphi [6] .
