Biography

Fabio Costa was brought up in the youth academies of the Bahia, Cruzeiro, Dutch PSV and Vitoria clubs. He made his professional debut in 1996 at Vitoria from Salvador.

Fabio Costa spent his best years at Santos, with whom he won the Brazilian championship, two state championships in São Paulo , and in 2003 reached the final of the Libertadores Cup . In 2004-2005, he played for Corinthians and in 2005 he helped his team become the fourth time Brazil's champion in an acute confrontation with Internacional . According to the results of 2005, Fabio Costa joined the symbolic national team of the Brazilian championship.

In 2010-2011, he played for Atlético Mineiro. Prior to joining the club from Belo Horizonte, he was captain of FC Santos. In 2012 he returned to Santos, but Murisi Ramallo does not need his services. Fabio trained with the team, his contract ended at the end of 2013. In February 2013, he played two matches for San Cayetano, speaking on loan. After that, he decided to end his career. In an interview, Fabio said that he does not hold back evil on Santos for the unsuccessful recent years of his career [2] .

In 2000-2001, he played for the Brazilian Olympic team.
