General characteristics
Rouge - an 18-year-old anthropomorphic bat with white hair, dressed in a tight-fitting black suit with a heart-shaped pattern, wears long mittens and high boots with metal heels. In Sonic Heroes and the Sonic Riders series, the heroine wears different outfits, but in a similar color scheme and there are details in the form of a heart. She also has unlockable costumes in Sonic Adventure 2 .
Bat Rouge is a professional treasure hunter [3] [5] . She also calls herself “The Greatest Thief in the World,” and fearlessly does what is needed, neglecting danger and ignoring the feelings of others. She is also a spy for GUN [3] [6] [7] . Her “feminine charm” creates negligence in character, but in fact she is intriguing and knows how to manipulate others [3] [7] . Rouge is secretly in love with Knuckles's echidna , who is guarded by the Emerald Master [7] . However, the manual of the game Sonic the Hedgehog indicates that her feelings for Shadow the hedgehog are similar to feelings for Knuckles [8] . In the animated series " Sonic X, " the bat also sympathizes with a hedgehog. The heroine primarily fights with her feet, especially often uses the “screw kick” technique ( Eng. Screw Kick ), and can fly long distances using wings [3] [4] [5] .

In Sonic Battle, she is the owner of Rouge Club in the area of Night Babylon. She planned to use her position as a government agent to gather information on valuable treasures. She stole a Eggman robot named Emerl from Amy Rose , and tried to train him as a professional thief so he would steal more jewelry for her. She takes him to her house, Club Rouge, and teaches him to fight with the Guard Robot, evade capture and open locks, then with his help steals the Chaos Emerald, which he swallows. At the end of the game, when Amerl thanks Sonic and his friends for taking care of him, Rouge was not mentioned.
