Honored Worker of Agriculture of the USSR - an honorary title awarded to workers of collective farms , state farms and other agricultural enterprises, organizations and institutions for their great contribution to the development of agricultural production and who have worked in agriculture for at least 20 years.

Appropriated by the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR on the proposal of the Ministry of Agriculture of the USSR , other ministries, state committees and departments of the USSR, which were in charge of agricultural enterprises, organizations and institutions. Persons awarded the title "Honored Worker of Agriculture of the USSR" were awarded a certificate of the Presidium of the Supreme Council of the USSR and a badge of the established form, worn on the right side of the chest, above the orders of the USSR (if any).
History
- Established by Decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of December 28, 1981 ;
- Confirmed by the Decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of August 22, 1988 ;
- December 30, 1995 by Decree of the President of the Russian Federation established the honorary title Honored Worker of Agriculture of the Russian Federation
