Honored Technologist of the USSR - an honorary title conferred on workers of design and technological organizations, research institutions, production and research and production associations and enterprises for their outstanding contribution to the development and implementation of fundamentally new highly efficient equipment and technologies that meet the highest world technical and economic indicators level.
Appointed by the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR on the proposal of the USSR State Committee for Science and Technology , the USSR Academy of Sciences, USSR ministries and departments, which were responsible for design and technological organizations, research institutions, production and research and production associations and enterprises. Persons awarded the title of "Honored Technologist of the USSR" were awarded a diploma of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR and a badge of the established form, worn on the right side of the chest, above the orders of the USSR (if any).
History
- Established by Decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of June 14, 1985 .
First this title by the Decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of December 17, 1987, Professor of the Moscow Aviation Institute Vladimir Nikolayevich Krysin was awarded.
- It is abolished by the Decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of August 22, 1988 ;
