Pallena ( ancient Greek Παλλήνη ) is a character of ancient Greek mythology [1] . Daughter of Siphon [2] , king of co-souls in Thrace. Her father fought with her suitors and killed many. When the forces left him, the father ordered the fiances Driant and Klit to fight each other in chariots. Pallena fell in love with Kelta and was able to destroy Driant. Her father wanted to burn her, but a downpour fell from the sky, and her father married her to Klit. [3] According to another version, her father was in love with her and urged her to kill her suitors in fights. Dionysus defeated her in the fight [4] .
Pallen is also one of the Alkyonides . Her name is named satellite of Saturn .
